James joined DLA Town Planning in 2018 after graduating from Henley Business School and is a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
He has built up a strong portfolio of experience across a variety of planning projects, with a focus on residential development ranging from infill sites to larger strategic housing schemes. James also plays a key role in local plan representations and site promotion, working closely with landowners, developers, and consultant teams to deliver effective planning strategies and securing successful outcomes. Following his promotion in 2025 to Principal Planner and his vast experience with Local Plans he has also become a key member of the Quantum Golf team. .
